Mocci Clinic is a premium clinic located right in front of Gangnam Station, newly opened on December 16, 2024.
Mocci Clinic was founded with the goal of not only providing skin aesthetic treatments to our customers but also gifting them with a memorable and sophisticated experience.
While dermatological procedures generally result in high satisfaction regarding the outcome, they are often accompanied by significant pain during the process. This frequently causes customers to feel anxious even before visiting the clinic.
Additionally, in many cases, the factory-like operation of some clinics makes it difficult for customers to feel they are receiving personalized and attentive care.
We understand these concerns and have made great efforts to ensure that every customer has a satisfying treatment experience and that every visit to our clinic becomes a cherished memory.

The following are questions we asked ourselves during the process of establishing our clinic, as part of our extensive considerations:
Q) What should a aesthetic clinic look like?
A) Customers visit the clinic with excitement and anticipation, but there is always a sense of worry and tension in their hearts. Therefore, a clinic should not be rigid or heavy in atmosphere; it should be a place where comfort is felt, and the space itself becomes a moment of relaxation. With this in mind, we imagined bringing the ambiance of a hotel into the clinic.
Hotels prioritize rest and comfort above all, and we believed that if we could create an experience where customers feel the comfort of a luxury hotel rather than a typical clinic, we could offer them an extraordinary experience.
Thus, unlike conventional clinics, we created a lounge café in the waiting area. Equipped with a professional coffee machine, we serve warm coffee and fragrant tea while inviting customers to enjoy the stunning night view of Gangnam Boulevard. We wanted the waiting time to be more than just idle moments—it should be an experience, a memory, and a meaningful time in itself.
Q) Why are music and fragrance important?
Music and fragrance are crucial elements that give a space its unique meaning. We strive to create a bright and warm atmosphere in the lobby so that customers feel welcomed the moment they enter.
In contrast, for the treatment areas, we carefully select music that promotes comfort and relaxation, helping to ease any tension the customers might feel.


Q) Why must it be a private room?
Considering the high rental costs around Gangnam Station, we initially considered having shared rooms for two or three customers to optimize space efficiency.
However, as we reflected further, we concluded that for customers to receive treatments comfortably without any interruptions, the treatment space must be exclusively private. While we were concerned about the potential decrease in profitability, this was a non-negotiable aspect.
We wanted to provide the most pleasant temperature, humidity, and lighting during the customer’s stay, creating an environment where they could recover comfortably. Additionally, we prepared personalized welcome cards bearing the customer’s name upon their arrival to make them feel uniquely focused and special.
Q) Why should the bedding be soft and comforting?
The place where customers spend the most time during their visit is the hospital bed. If we want to provide everyone with a remarkable experience, it goes without saying that the hospital bed is the most critical area to focus on.
That’s why we chose to use goose-down bedding, custom-made to the standards of luxury hotels, specifically tailored for our clinic.
Moreover, as most dermatological treatments are accompanied by some level of discomfort or pain, we know we cannot entirely eliminate all the pain and inconvenience customers may feel during the procedure. However, we aim to minimize it, at the very least, by ensuring they rest in a comfortable bed with soft, plush bedding.


Q) What should the consultation process at a clinic be like?
The consultation system at a clinic has a dual aspect. It serves as a process to help customers but can also create unnecessary pressure. Due to the nature of dermatological procedures, which are numerous and varied, a proper understanding of the treatments often requires professional knowledge. As a result, customers may need assistance from professional consultants to select the procedures most suitable for them.
However, at the same time, the consultation process plays a significant role in the clinic's revenue. This sometimes leads to situations where unnecessary procedures are recommended, causing customers to feel burdened.
To address this, we have developed a system that allows customers to directly select the procedures they need without going through a consultation process. Customers can relax on a comfortable sofa, enjoy coffee or tea, and access the procedure selection page via a QR code provided within the clinic. This allows them to choose the procedures and detailed options that suit them best.
Additionally, consultations are available upon request for those who desire them. Our guiding principle is embodied in our slogan: "Your face, Your decision."


Q) Why must treatments be precise?
No matter how advanced the equipment or high-quality the products used, their effectiveness can only be maximized with precise application. Without accurate procedures, their benefits are inevitably diminished.
Q) How can treatments be performed accurately?
The most critical factor in ensuring accurate treatments is proper anesthesia. The more pain a customer experiences, the more they tend to move, making precise procedures challenging. Additionally, pain can impose limitations on selecting the necessary intensity of the treatment.
Q) How can effective anesthesia be achieved?
To achieve effective anesthesia, injection anesthesia is more helpful than cream anesthesia. When performing injection anesthesia, it is essential to administer it to the exact location. To ensure precision, we use ultrasound equipment to accurately identify the anesthesia site.
Q) Why is it important to reduce pain?
Dermatological procedures often involve some level of pain. Even if the results are excellent, the memory of pain can cause customers to fear undergoing the procedure again, which may prevent them from maintaining the effects of the treatment.
Pain associated with procedures can be significantly reduced through the efforts of the medical staff. Furthermore, as our clinic specializes in procedures involving frequent injections, we place particular emphasis on pain management to ensure a more comfortable experience for our customers.

Q) Why must treatments be detailed? / How are treatments performed with precision?
One of the most critical aspects of customer experience is the meticulousness of the procedure. Even when customers choose the same treatment, the areas they wish to focus on and their desired outcomes can vary significantly.
To meet these individual needs, we first design the treatment using our specialized equipment. We then carefully distribute the medication and perform the procedure with the utmost care and precision.
